Nigeria: Unicef to Spend N108 Million On Education in Zamfara
Gusau — The United Nations Children Education
Fund (UNICEF) has said that it will spend N108
million on education in six local government areas
of Zamfara State.
This was disclosed by the Education Specialist,
Sokoto Field, Hajiya Safiya Tahir Abdullahi,
during a media briefing conducted alongside head
of the Chief Field Office, Mr Mohammed Mohiuddin
in Gusau.
Hajiya Safiya said Zamfara State had budgeted
over N12 billion, representing 11.4 per cent of
the total budget for education.
